Handmade Paper at Athens Jazz Festival 2026

Marking Triton & Shell’s first year of operation, part of the exhibition “Handmade Paper from Asia to Europe” was presented at Technopolis City of Athens as part of The Meet Market, held alongside Athens Jazz Festival 2026.

Through selected objects from the collection, the presentation traced the journey of handmade paper from East Asia to Europe, highlighting different raw materials, techniques and regional papermaking traditions.

Historical material, paper samples, tools and other objects were accompanied by a live presentation of handmade papermaking, allowing visitors to encounter both the historical and practical dimensions of the craft.

The presentation offered a condensed version of the original Triton & Shell exhibition and an opportunity to introduce the history and art of handmade paper to a wider public.
