Selected Objects
Discover the stories of selected objects from the collection and the people behind them.
Each object in the collection can serve as a starting point for a broader story. Its provenance, making, use and surviving traces can lead us to the people who created or used it, the workshops and companies connected with it, and the techniques, conditions of production and networks through which it circulated.
Through the documentation of selected objects, this section brings forward smaller and often lesser-known histories that contribute to a broader understanding of the history, technology and art of paper and the book.
