About Triton & Shell
Team

The Triton & Shell team brings together professionals from different fields of knowledge and practice, ranging from the conservation of books and archival materials, bookbinding, and historical research to the visual arts, calligraphy, and editorial work.
These different areas of expertise meet around a shared field of interest: paper and the book as materials of history, knowledge, technical practice, and artistic creation. Depending on their individual expertise, team members contribute to the research and documentation of the collection, the development of exhibitions and educational programmes, studio activities, and the broader research and cultural work of the organisation.
This interdisciplinary approach enables Triton & Shell to examine paper and the book from different perspectives: as historical evidence, as objects of material culture, as carriers of technical knowledge, and as fields of contemporary artistic practice.
